I've been working closely with the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network on sharing findings from my dissertation, and recently we collaborated to develop a video to share the personal stories of people I have been interviewing. The video is a unique way to share findings from a qualitative research project and was initially based off of an audio experience the Legal Network developed and presented at the launch of their annual conference last year. For the video, I brought together a range of diverse real stories from my research to elaborate the experiences of stigma, violence and discrimination faced by criminalized people in Canada who have been charged and/or prosecuted in relation to HIV non-disclosure and exposure. More details on the video and its contents can be found here. Please share widely!
