I recently wrote an article that is part memoir, part essay, part journalism for the award-winning Canadian publication Maisonneuve. In the article I explore a number of tensions that PrEP brings up, and ask questions about how the drug is reshaping the sex lives of queer men. As a result of the impact of the article, Maisonneuve invited me to speak with the wonderful Anthony Oliveira, a National Magazine Award-nominated writer, film programmer, pop culture critic and PhD, about the piece and its reception.
